Terms and Conditions of Payment

These Terms and Conditions apply to all participation fee payments for WRO 2026 Open Championship Europe – Croatia, including payments made by bank transfer and card payment links.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to payments made for participation in WRO 2026 Open Championship Europe – Croatia, including payments made by bank transfer or by card through a secure online payment service provider.

The participation fee is charged per country delegation, based on the registration data submitted by the relevant National WRO Representative or another authorized national organizer.

These Terms do not apply to the sale of physical goods.

3. Registration and Payment Responsibility

Registrations for participation are submitted by the relevant National WRO Representative or another authorized national organizer acting on behalf of the country delegation.

Payment may be made by:

• the National WRO Representative,

• the official national organizer, or

• another authorized payer acting on behalf of the country delegation.

By making a payment, the payer confirms that they are authorized to pay on behalf of the relevant delegation.

The participation fee is not charged separately for each individual team through the payment page. Instead, each country delegation is charged a single total amount based on the confirmed registration data.

4. Description of the Service

The participation fee covers participation in WRO 2026 Open Championship Europe – Croatia and related organizational services arranged by the organizer on the basis of confirmed registrations.

Depending on the participant category and registration details, the participation fee may include organizational costs and accommodation-related arrangements reserved in advance for the registered delegation.

The exact amount due is determined according to the official registration records and the applicable payment information issued for each country delegation.

5. Prices and Payment Currency

All prices and participation fees are expressed in EUR.

The total amount due for each country delegation is shown on the relevant payment information page or invoice issued by the organizer. A standard administration fee may be added to the total payment amount for each country delegation. Where applicable, this fee will be shown as a separate line item on the relevant payment information page and/or invoice and will be included in the total amount due.

Any bank fees, transfer fees, currency conversion charges, card issuer charges, or similar payment-related costs are the responsibility of the payer, so that the organizer receives the full amount due.

6. Payment Methods

Payments may be made by:

• bank transfer

• card payment through a secure hosted payment page provided by our payment service provider.

Where card payment is offered, the payer may be redirected to or presented with a secure payment page operated by the payment service provider. Payment card data is entered only through the secure payment interface of the payment service provider.

Card payments are processed securely through CorvusPay. Accepted cards are Visa, Mastercard® and Maestro®.

Online card payments may be authenticated through the applicable card security programs, including Visa Secure and Mastercard® Identity Check™.

The organizer does not store or process full payment card details on its own systems. Card data are entered only through the secure CorvusPay payment interface.

Accepted card and security program logos are displayed in the website footer.

7. Payment Confirmation

Participation is considered financially confirmed only after the full amount due has been successfully received and recorded by the organizer.

The organizer may issue confirmation of payment and, where applicable, an invoice or other payment-related confirmation document.

8. Accommodation Reservations and Advance Commitments

After registration is submitted and payment is received, the organizer proceeds with accommodation bookings and other event arrangements based on the confirmed number and category of participants.

These reservations and related commitments are made in advance and often cannot be cancelled, reduced, or recovered without cost to the organizer.

For this reason, accurate registration data and timely payment are essential.

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Because accommodation and related event services are reserved and paid in advance on the basis of confirmed registrations, the participation fee is generally non-refundable.

Once registration has been submitted by the National WRO Representative or another authorized national organizer, and payment has been completed, no refund will normally be available.

This applies in particular, but not exclusively, to:

• cancellation of participation by a country delegation,

• cancellation by individual participants,

• reduction in the number of participants,

• changes in team composition,

• travel disruptions,

• visa issues,

• illness, injury, or other personal circumstances,

• or any other circumstance affecting attendance after registration and payment.

Any exception may be considered only at the sole discretion of the organizer.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights that may apply under applicable law.

10. Card Payment Authorization and Disputes

By completing a card payment, the payer confirms that:

• they are authorized to use the selected payment method,

• the payment is made with the knowledge and approval of the relevant delegation, and

• all information provided for the payment is accurate and complete.

If the payer believes that a payment has been made in error, they should contact the organizer immediately at payments@wro2026croatia.eu before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, so that the matter can be reviewed and resolved where possible.

11. Delivery of the Service

The participation fee relates to event participation and related organizational arrangements. No physical goods are shipped or delivered.

The service is considered provided through confirmation of participation, reservation of accommodation and related arrangements, and the organization of the event in accordance with the confirmed registration.

The organizer will respond within a reasonable time.

13. Privacy and Data Processing

Personal and payment-related data are processed only to the extent necessary for registration, payment processing, invoicing, communication with delegations, and event organization.

Card payments are processed through a secure third-party payment service provider.

14. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent court in Croatia, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

15. Validity of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply from the date of publication on this website and remain in effect until updated or replaced by the organizer.
